So I finished my second sewing project today! I couldn't think of what I should make my nephew for his 1st Birthday and then I stumbled upon this. How stinking cute is that?? I decided that it looked easy enough to tackle and it was fairly simple! Daisy didn't sew up the sides of hers but I decided that he would probably stay warmer if it was sewn closed vs just closed with Velcro. I am going to start one for Cayden tomorrow. But with his I think that I will just use Velcro because I didn't buy enough fabric to make his big enough to last him a long time so when he grows out of it he can just use it as a blanket!
Cute ya? I am having a ton of fun, and am excited for my next project!

Sew Mama Sew!!
Yay for space! Mat and I are totally loving having room to spread out again. I can't wait to get the rest of our things out of storage, mainly my SEWING machine, I have decided to try my hand at homemade gifts and being crafty! I had so much fun making pillows for all my niece and nephews for Christmas so I am going to expand my 'talents' if I can even call it that. I won't go into to much detail as to what is on the want to do list since some of you may be on the recipient list! =)
Aubrey is loving her new room! She has finally started sleeping all night long in her crib again! Yay no more contorted sleeping around her in MY bed! YAY me!
Two more weeks till I go to the Dr. again! Yes I am counting down the days to freedom. You would too if you were in my shoes. We are all looking forward to Spring and the warm weather, this back and forth junk is getting old! About the time it gets warm enough to melt the snow, we get another storm! Please send warmth and sunshine soon.
Shout out to LEILANI START BLOGGING AGAIN!!! It has been to long and I have left you alone but now, well let the harassing begin. =) You could start with how wonderful your weekend away was at your friends cabin, or how both your vehicles died in the same week, or how your belly is growing and the list goes on...UPDATE please and thank you.

Healing well
I went to the Dr. yesterday, he said that my leg is healing well. I go back again in four weeks for more x-rays. I am hoping that when I go back we will schedule my surgery to get that one screw out. The Dr. says that if it looks good and is healing well that we will be able to do the surgery early!! I hope that things go that way, the sooner the better for me.
Mat and I got our bedroom painted and our bedroom set that we got for our wedding out of the box. I am so excited to have our stuff again, although I wish I was able to do more. Poor Mat is going non stop all day between me and work. He is probably the only one besides me that hopes the next few months fly by!
Aubrey is doing great, she is growing like a weed. Her vocabulary grows and grows. I swear she says something new everyday. I can't believe that she is already 18 months old. It really seems like just yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital.
I will have to post some pictures of the house once we get everything painted and the flooring all done. We are really enjoying having our own space again. It will be even more enjoyable once it is on our property. Hopefully we will have it moved in the next few weeks if the weather will cooperate. Only time will tell.....

Getting old...
Things have been pretty busy around here. We almost have all of my parents stuff moved into there new house, all that is left is some stuff in their closets. Mat and I are getting anxious to paint and get the new carpet in so we can FINALLY take our bedroom set out of their boxes! Not to mention our brand new couches that basically went straight to storage as well. It has been so long since we had our stuff, I'm not sure I even remember what all we have.
I turned another year older this past Saturday. It was a good day. Mat got me Wii Fit to go with our Wii that Bo and Laura got us for Christmas. I am really excited to take it out of its box in oh... FIVE MONTHS!!! =( I can't wait to be done healing and have some normalcy again. Oh and I got a little crazy and bought myself a...............CRICET EXPRESSIONS (with birthday money of course....Thanks Grandma Zufelt, Bo & Laura, and my mom & dad!). I am soooo excited to get our office set up and get it out of the box. I decided that now is the perfect time to get one since I don't ever leave the house I might as well get caught up on my scrapbook!
My cousin had decided to run for Sheriff, so I have been really busy designing yard signs, t-shirts, magnets and the list goes on and on. It has been so nice to be doing something again. It is nice to be needed again. I go to the Dr. again in one week!!! I am glad that time is passing quickly, because the end of the chapter of life can't come soon enough. I look forward to getting out of bed, walking un-assisted to Aubrey's room!!!
Hope everyone is enjoying 2010!!!

Tons of stuff going on...
Oh man there is so much going on around here! My parents closed on their loan last Thursday, and they got their C.O. on Monday!!! Yay let the moving in begin, which it did this past weekend. I am so excited for them, this whole process has taken FOREVER!!! I will post some pics of the new pad when they are all moved in and i can convince someone to carry my camera over there.
Mat and I have decided that Aubrey is ready to start potty training, she HATES to sit in a dirty diaper and I don't blame her. So we are going to get her a potty and some pull ups, on our next trip to junction. She is so cute she will poop, and then point and her diaper and say poo, poo and run to her room to be changed.
I went to the dr today, they took 28 staples out of my leg! Wow I will have a super amazing scar. I am trying to convince the dr that we should take the one screw out in nine weeks instead of the twelve weeks he thinks it should be in there. I go back in three weeks for more x-rays, and hopefully I will get a boot and be done with these splints. So fingers crossed again.

I hope you guys are having as fun of a New Year as we are =) minus all the broken bone junk!

Surgery
So I had surgery on Tuesday. It was a very interesting situation. I can barely remember anything that has happened this past week. I do not handle drugs very well at all. From what everyone tells me, the surgery went well. It took about six hours to get everything put back into place. I now have 13 screws and a plate in my leg. In twelve weeks I will go back and have one screw removed but the rest will be there for the duration of my existence. I am recovering well and am so looking forward to putting this whole situation behind me. I do not enjoy doing nothing and being a couch potato at all!
