Christmas

My dad had to work on Christmas day and Tosha and Jake said they weren't going anywhere during the day so we opened all our gifts on Christmas Eve. Which was really weird and I don't think we will be doing it again. The kids had a ton of fun opening all their stuff. Aubrey opened all her stuff by herself this year I was so excited cause she had no interest in it at her birthday.
We had a very lazy Christmas this year. We went out to Bo and Laura's at 11 then to Grandma Zufelts at noon for lunch. We came home gave Aubs a nap. Santa was late getting to our house this year he stopped by while Aubrey was sleeping :) After Aubrey woke up she tore into her stocking and colored on her new desk from Santa. My mom made our traditional Navajo Taco Christmas dinner, they were so yummy!
Update on my surgery. I have another swelling check on the fourth and we are hoping it is down enough to do surgery on the fifth.
Hope everyone has a happy and healthy New Year.

Surgery

So I do have to have surgery to fix my broken bones. The Dr. did a C-T scan and let me tell you those things are high tech! Apparently I broke 9cm of bone and the normal person only breaks 2. So the surgery is going to be a pretty serious task. We were hoping the swelling would go down enough to do the surgery tomorrow but it hasn't. So they will call me Wed to let me know when it will be, the dr is talking about coming home from vakay a day early to do it. And if that is the case I will be having surgery on New Year's Eve! LAME!! But I would love to just get it over with and start the real healing!

Streak broken

Well my 23 year 11 month streak of not having a broken bone ever was broke last night. I was our delivering christmas cards and gifts. I was at Jake and Candis' house, they weren't home so I was walking back to my truck when I slipped on some ice. Not really sure why but when I fell I broke both bones in my right leg. It was the weirdest thing, I knew I broke it but it really wasn't this horrible fall. I just slipped and went down, retarted but whatever. Luckily, I had my phone in my pocket and not in the truck. I called Mat who was working at the other end of 5th West, told him to hurry and get me I couldn't move and was freezing laying in the snow. Poor Aubrey was strapped into her seat still she couldn't see me just hear me screaming for help hoping a neighbot would come out, not sure what I thought they could do haha. Then Jake pulled up just before Mat, poor guy comes home to me laying in his drive way screaming. Finally, Mat and Jake pulled me up out of the wet snow and got me into Candis' car so we could go to the hospital. Once we got there they cut my pants and gave me some morphine to help with the pain. Ahh finally got a little relief from the pain. X-rays confirmed that I was indeed broken. Dr. Scherer said it is broken in 3 places, and both the tibia and fibia are broke. He had me call Dr. Kloepper to have him look at my x-rays to determine if I need to have surgery or just get a cast. Currently I am impatiently waiting for a call back with his opinion. Hopping that a cast does the trick! So that is yesterday's run down. Hope everyone is having more fun getting ready for Christmas then me!=)

No Internet...

So we don't have wireless anymore, my mom and Jake cut the line. So I am using my mom's work laptop with broadband for an update. So much is going on here, we are busy getting ready for Christmas, which we are not sure where we will be but there will be gifts! My parents should be in their house by then but we most likely will not be moved into ours. We got so much snow last night!!! I love it. Not so crazy about the idiots that cant drive and why they don't just stay home is beyond me. Anyway, we haven't had this much snow in town for like ever..well not in my lifetime anyway. They actually closed school!! I never got a snow day...pff. As much as I am loving the snow, I know that it will melt and then we will have mud! Which I HATE...all good things must come to an end I guess. Well I hope that everyone has a great Holiday Season, and I am taking the rest of the year off from blogging since I can't get online anyway. So hopefully sometime after we get moved in and settled we will be back up and running and then I will have a TON of updates!! MERRY CHRISTMAS and happy new year!!!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was pretty quiet this year. My dad had to work, my mom choose to work on the basement instead of cooking, and Tosha and Jake went to SLC. So Mat and I went out to Grandma Zufelts for lunch, we had a lot of fun, Mat wen out and shot his pistol with the boys and I played some apples and apples game with Ari, Kirsten, Lexi, Rhonda and Jaz. It was a TON of fun. I had never even heard of the game before and had a blast playing it! I am now going to go and buy it so I can introduce it to my family.
We then went down to Cody and Brit's for dinner. She makes the yummiest Turkey ever!! Not so sure what it is she does different but it is actually moist and not dry like most turkeys I have eaten.
So I escaped having to cook, Mat and I still got to eat all day, and we didn't have leftovers calling our names in the fridge! Yay for us. All in all it was a great day!
We are so thankfull for our families and all they do for us. Without each and every one of you we would not be the people that we are. So THANK YOU!!
And I am especially thankfull to our men and women in the armed forces, thank you all for the price you pay for our freedom.

Busy Busy

Things have been nonstop around here as we are trying to get things ready for my parents house. The basement is almost finished! They concrete guys just have a few finishing touches to do tomorrow. The house will be delivered on Friday, and the crew will begin putting it back together and on the basement Monday. So if everything goes smooth from here on out there is a very good chance we will all be moved by Christmas!!

I am so jealous Ive been wanting one for a while now just have to save up enought money for a bike and a seat for Aubs...soon hopefully.

Our week

Aubrey and I hung out with Dani and Kelby on Tuesday. We had a lot of fun! Went for a walk, then for Taco Tuesday at LaHa. Then we went and met Kelby at the bus stop. Aubrey was so cute she wouldn't hold anyone's hand but Kelby's!Then they were playing with Kelby's toys and Aubs couldn't decide if she wanted to be the Hulk or a boxer! It was a fun afternoon, way better then what we normally do!!
Then on Wed we went and finished moving all the tree limbs off the property. It was an extremely cold day, we woke up to snow!!! But that didn't stop Aubrey from having a good time! And she got her first pigtails on Thursday!!! Quite cute if you ask me =)We have had a great week and are really excited to go trick-or-treating tomorrow night!

No more apricot tree...

Mat and Cody cut down the last tree on the property this past Saturday! I am so excited, now that the trees are down and outta the way we can finally start the rest of the stuff that we have to do before we move the trailor. Mat and I are really hoping that we will be moved in before Christmas, but we will see.
Aubrey was chowing down on some animal crackers while daddy cut the tree down.

Just another Sunday at Grandma Bullocks!!!

There is always something to do on the "Farm"! Just to name a few.....
Ride a Big Green Tractor....orGo swimming in a mud puddle!!!They sure love to go to Grandma's house!!!!

Frozen trip to the mountain!!

Bo, Nephi, Justin, Leilani, Kyle, Sydney, Ethan, Aubrey and I all went up to the property on Monday. We were having a blast cruising around on the toys, until someone(not sure who?) got the bright idea to ride over to Dark Canyon Lake. Of course we were all up for it until we got halfway there! We drove threw snow and ice ( yes Nephi it was SNOW) and were freezing when we got back to the trucks. As cold as we were it didn't take to long to warm up! Aubrey lost a shoe, had a nice little nap, and I had a TON of fun. Maybe, next time the whole Zufelt clan will be able to go! It was really good to see you Nephi, we sure missed seeing your girls though!

Christmas in October????

My parents are so funny! My mom came home from Junction yesterday with this in tow...Our little dare devil! Mat and I both go. "I thought you were getting that for her for Christmas?" And my dad says, "That is to long to wait!!!" HAHA Cracks me up. Anyway Aubs loves it!!!

Sunday afternoon at the Park

Last Sunday my friend Cyndie and I took the girls to play at Swanny City Park. The weather wasn't perfect but we had fun anyway! Aubrey LOVES to play in the dirt so she spent most of the time "swimming" in the sand. Ki is so adorable her favorite thing to do is go down the in-closed red slide, she probably went down that slide 100 times! Cyn and I finally convinced her to go down the open yellow slide, but it took us awhile. Both the girls had fun in the swings, however they just moved the playground stuff because they are building a new Aquatic center with an indoor pool and what not. so as short as the girls are their feet kept hitting the ground! Attention attention....HELLO MOAB CITY MAKE THE KID SWINGS HIGHER. Seriously the girls are what 2.5 feet tall that's it their feet should not drag. Anyway we had a lot of fun and so did the kids!Aubrey likes to try and climb up the slides instead of go down them! She is so cute.

Growing up so fast!!

Cayden and Cash came out for a visit the other day. It is amazing how quick they are all growing up! Cash is sitting up pretty well by himself, and Aubs is keeping up with Cayden!Aubrey is such a character these days, she has this crazy weird obsession with shoes. It doesn't matter what she is doing she insists on having shoes on while doing it. So a lazy Sunday morning hanging out in a diaper translates to a diaper AND shoes for her!She also learned how to climb up into her walker all by herself!

Last camping trip of the summer

We decided to go camping last Friday night. We went up to Buckeye with Cody, Brit and Cody's family. It was a TON of fun! Aubrey was such a joy. She fell asleep on the way up, and was so cute in the morning when she woke up she didn't have a clue where she was. It was quite comical she was looking around for Mat and yelling his name, he startled her when he popped up from the other bed in the back of the RV. It was adorable! We went for a long four wheeler ride Saturday morning it was so much fun. Aubrey fell asleep shortly after we left camp, and then woke back up shortly before we returned! She was so cute. Anyway, we had tons of fun and got see some AMAZING views!!!Aubrey asleep on the four wheeler!

Interesting week...

This past week was interesting to say the least! Aubrey has been such a joy! No teething or cold, ahh my sweet baby is back. She has finally decided that walking is a better way to get around then crawling. Aubrey is so cute in the bath, she enjoys the water so much. This is her literally seconds before she decided to take a poo in the tub! Yes, she did her business right there in her bath. I was so shocked I wasn't sure what to do, seriously I expected something like that when she was just a few weeks or months old but not at 13 months! Anyway, I scoped her up out of the tub and my sweet wonderful husband cleaned up the mess...yes you read that right MAT cleaned up the poo!!
Now on to something a little less repulsive. The car wash still freaks Aubrey out on occasion but this week she was having fun "driving" through it.Thursday morning Aubs woke up in the best mood ever. I love when she is so happy however if it would come a little later then seven am it would be that much better! My mom had to go help at the horse show that night so I fed the horses for her, and Aubrey helped!Sunday, I went to Monticello to take pictures for my girlfriend and Aubrey and Mat got to spend the morning together just the two of them! Mat said they had a good time, and they must have she fell asleep on the couch. So I have decided that my daughter is the biggest goof around. She does some of the most random things! The pictures say more then I can...Yes she is riding a SHOE!!! She keeps us on our toes, now that she is walking but I wouldn't have it any other way! We are enjoying the fall weather and the colors on the mountains are absolutely amazing. We are looking forward to the holidays, and seeing everyone!
