Christmas...

Christmas was good for us this year. Good food, good company, and tons of fun watching the little ones eyes light up. We all got great gifts as well. Mat got 200 rounds for his 223, a coat, and some other odds and ends. I by far was spoiled this year, Mat got me three more of my FAVORITE bookshelves, and my parents got me a 40 cal pistol since I got my concealed weapons permit. Aubrey got tons of clothes, a really cool thing that lights up and puts shapes and things on the ceiling, a crawl with me pooh bear, and a rocking horse. Mat and I made Cayden a photo book which he absolutely loved!

It was really nice to see everyone, and catch up. It is hard to believe just how quickly time goes by. Last Christmas Mat and I found out we were pregnant, and now Aubrey is FOUR months old. The year has been good to us, and we are looking forward to the next!
Such a happy Aunt Leilani :-)

Hanging out with Great Grandpa Bennie

I thought I had already posted a blog about when we went and saw Grandpa but I guess not. The same weekend we went and got our Christmas tree we stopped in lasal and visited Great Grandpa Bennie. Here are some pics.

Finally finished

I wrapped the last christmas present last night! I am so glas that task is over. My mom, sister and I baked all week long and put our holiday plates together yesterday and got them delivered. Now all we have left to do is wait for Christmas morning!
Aubrey has quite the personality. She likes to shake her head "No" when daddy talkes to her. That is quite funny to watch and I am sure she will do that most of her adolescence :-) Bath time is her favorite time of the day. She sleeps most of the morning and is awake and loves to play in the evenings. I love to watch her grow and it is so much fun when she learns something new. She is moving into the "everything must go into my mouth" stage. Although she hasn't quite fiquered out how to get it there. She will soon enough I am sure.
We are saving our pennies to take a trip to Misssissippi next May, for the Bullock family reunion. I am really excited to see where my dad grew up, and meet his crazy family. Mat however hates to travel and I doubt he will go with us. He has already given me a handfull of excuses as to why he "wont be able to".

Aubrey and Cayden

We took the kids down for a joint photo shoot. Karisa's back drop was absolutely adorable. Aubrey wasn't the most cooperative however she did not cry! Me and my sister have some cute kids! Happy Holidays!!!

Christmas Photo Shoot

We had Karisa take Aubrey's Christmas pictures this week they turned out absoluetly adorable!! I am a little bias though :-) She is not a fan of the "big black thing" (camera) in her face, it is so hard to get a shot of her smiling! Well here are my favorites.

Meeting Santa

We went to Grand Junction yesterday to finish up our Christmas shopping. Santa was at the mall so we got the kids pictures taken. Aubrey was ready for a nap and a bit cranky so we let her keep her binkie. Great pictures despite.

Light parade

Aubrey went to her first Christmas light parade this past saturday. She seemed to really have a lot of fun, well as much fun as a three month old possibly can in the cold. I thought the motorcycles were going to scare her but she really seemed to like the noise they made.

We got our tree this past Saturday too!!! Aubrey absolutely adores the lights, I like to just watch her stare at them. She just sits and coos and squeals at them. She is more fun then I ever imagined.

My mom found the old sleigh that my grandma Shar made, I tired to get some cute pics of Aubrey in it in front of the tree but she was so stuck on the lights. Hopefully, we will get some cute ones of her in it, when she is in her Christmas outfits. We are so excited for the Holidays!!

Growing up so fast

Aubrey is getting so big! She tries so hard to move when she is on her tummy, but she just isn't strong enough yet. But that doesn't stop her from trying. She hasn't rolled over again but she sure does try and try. It is cute she gets so frustrated that she can't do it. But I just let her get mad, hoping she will muster up the strength. I know she will get it soon. Too soon!! She is growing so fast, I swear we just got home from the hospital. We are getting so excited for Christmas, I think we are going to go get a tree this weekend!!
How big is that smile?!?!?

Gravel hill

My nephew is so cute. He was taking out the trash the other day, when he saw the gravel hill.

And you could just see the thoughts process, he went running back to the house for his Tonka truck. Pretty smart for a two year old if you ask me. So we played in the gravel for a while.

We told him to slide down the hill, however we meant in the truck not on his tummy! But hey he was having fun.

He is so much fun, I can't wait till Aubrey gets big enough to join him on his crazy adventours!
