First trip to the ER...

Well yesterday morning I put Aubrey down for a nap, and five minutes later she started screaming. I went in to get her and noticed her eye was all red and swollen and half her face had a crazy weird rash on it. So I decided better safe then sorry, so down to the hospital we went. Those that know our hospital know what a joke it is, the staff acts like it is an inconvience to do their job. We spent two and half hours WAITING to be seen by the doctor! Buy then she had eaten and taken a little nap, and the rash had all but gone away and her eye was just a little swollen. So the Dr. didn't even see the severity of why I was there. He decided to prescribe her amoxacillian "just in case" she has an infection. But today she is back to her happy self, and all the swelling is gone. Hopefully her Dr. can fit us in tomorrow for a follow up. I wish I had taken a picture but that didn't cross my mind at the time. So that was the most eventful day of our Thanksgiving weekend.
