Carpenter I am....

NOT!
(how do you like those for reference lines?)
I told Mat that I would take care of the stairs and the fence, in our whole move your house and take a month to get back into it adventure we are having. Well it has been an experience. My mother has been kind enough to help me since she just built her stairs a few months ago. I'm confident that we will get them finished however I am learning that we are definitely NOT professionals. Good thing we are having fun doing it. =)
Aubrey and Cayden decided to go into the hole that Axle dug last night, and WOW that dog can dig a hole! It was as deep as Aubrey is tall. They had a ton of fun playing in it though.
My poor adorable nephew Cash is just full of bad luck these days. A few weeks ago he was playing at his Dad's house and fell down and broke his arm, and just two days ago he slipped when getting off his tricycle and broke his leg! That poor kid just can't win! My mom and I are wondering if he has weak bones or what because most kids don't break so easily, I think my sister is going to take him to a good doctor outside of Moab and get him all tested and checked out to make sure it isn't something crazy like bone density issues.
We are really hoping to get moved into our house this weekend but the way our luck has been going it won't happen until next week. But fingers crossed anyway. The electricians are suppose to come today or tomorrow and do our part of the electricity and hopefully we can get RMP out on Friday. But I guess we will just have to wait and see.
I hope everyone has a good Labor Day weekend have fun and be safe! I have to work all weekend boo hoo!

Hooray!!!!!

So we finally have the house on our property!! Oh it is so exciting I was really beginning to lose hope that it was ever really going to happen. But it did. =) We moved it a week and a half ago, and all we have left to do before we can move back in is: get the electricity and gas hooked up, get new carpet in the living room, and then just clean it all up and put everything back where it goes. So we are hoping that by Monday night we are sleeping in our own bed again. But more then having our bed back I am ubber excited to have my washer and dryer. I HATE the laundry mat!
Leaving my mom's property.
Arriving at our property! FINALLY!!
In other NEWS my baby is going to be 2 on Friday!! =( I can't believe how big she is getting and how fast time has flown by. She had her well visit on Monday. The Dr. said she is growing perfectly she is in the 50% for everything but her height. But I am super short so I always expected her to be short too. =) We are going to have a party at the city park on Saturday to celebrate so if your in the neighborhood come by and have a burger.Aubrey out feeding the horses with Gam Gam.

So we have bagged a vacation all together this year =( We all have to much going on to get away. But Aubrey and I decided to go down to Cedar City this past weekend and stay with Justin and Leilani. We had so much fun. I was a little nervous about driving all that way by myself with Aubrey but it actually went really well. Leilani and I stayed up untill 2 am Saturday sewing for the photo shoot of her new nursing covers. They are super cute and totally ingenious! Congrats on your new business adventure! Saturday could not have been a more perfect day. We got up early went and got our bountiful baskets, took pictures, went to the park, all before heading to St. George for some shopping, cupcakes and playing in the water. Aubrey had a blast in the water, I am hoping that Mat will recreate something similar in our yard. I can't wait for spring now that I have my own yard again. =) Aubrey with Ranger, the puppy that only lasted 3 nights @ the Zufelts home. Bahaha You live and you learn right Justin?

Check out Udderly Me, you will wish you had one of these while you were nursing.

Ahhh summer!

WOW July has been busy so far. We had a great 4th, just hung out with the family and watched the fireworks. I am lame and didn't get any pictures of the day or of Aubs looking all cute =(. I sold my '79 Ford sad to see it go but super excited for a new fence on the property. We haven't really done anything crazy exciting just trying to stay cool in this crazy hot weather.
We are getting really excited for our vacation next month. However, I am totally bummed that we won't be going to Mt. Rushmore. Instead we will be camping in Ouray, CO. I haven't been there that I remember and I hear it has a lot of great things and at least we are still getting away from Moab.
Aubrey is growing up so fast. She will be two next month! And she is definitely acting like a 2 year old. I hope that Mat and I make it threw the next few years with hair on our heads. =)
See what happens when unattended and the A & D ointment is in reach?
Yep an ENTIRE tub in her hair! It took DAYS to wash out.
Aubrey just LOVES babies! This is her holding Kodi Ann.
Trying to climb through the dog door @ Cody & Brit's.
Like most things, Aubrey got her birthday present from my parents early. It is an F-150! Super awesome and she LOVES it! Thanks Gam Gam and Pa Pa!

(Don't mind the unpolished toes and in serious need of a pedi feet, I had an appointment that is now canceled!)
Just last night I finally convinced Mat to go down to our property and deal with the weeds that are seriously OUT OF CONTROL! We are getting everything loaded up and Mat tells me to go put on 'real shoes'. What flip flops aren't 'real shoes'??? But like always I didn't listen. We weren't even out of the truck for five minutes when I was weed whacking and one of the blades came off and whacked me!!! Ouch it hurts, but I guess sometimes the hubby is right. But shhh don't tell him. =)

Father's Day

So I hope everyone had a wonderful Father's Day weekend! We kicked off the weekend with a BBQ with Jake and Candis. That was a lot of fun! Mat and I are losers and don't get out very often, it was good to see everyone! Thanks for the invite Jake & Candis!!
We both had to work on Saturday, so we did that and then just vegged around the house. Sunday we went up the mountain with my parents, and sister. We found a really nice little field with a creek running threw it up by Don's Lake. Mat and I took a quad and the 125. It was nice to get up on the mountain and out of the valley heat. We had fun throwing the rope @ Tosha's practice steer. Aubrey and Cayden had tons of fun learning to cast a fishing pole. Mat, Aubrey and I went for a ride on the toys to the lake. Neither of us had ever been to Don's Lake. It is small but very pretty up there! It was nice no one was there, so Mat showed Aubrey how much fun it is to throw rocks into the lake. She was laughing so hard I thought she might fall in!
I took pictures of Aubrey for Mat and my Dad I think they turned out soooo cute! Aubrey was being such a ham the day we took them.

And today Mat and I are going to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary! Time flies, I can't believe it has already been two years since Aubs (remember that HUGE belly!) and I walked down the isle. I am so thankful to have Mat, he means the world to me! Happy Anniversary to us!

Summer Fun

We have been busy the past few weeks. Mat has been working a ton, and when he isn't at work I have him busy doing something for me. I am working two jobs, and have a ton of stuff going on.
Steve and Michelle gave me a bike and I finally got it all fixed up. Aubrey and I have so much fun going on rides. Aubrey, my Grandma and I went to the park for the Arts Festival. It was really cool to see all the amazing things people can do! I had this guy draw Aubrey's name in symbols that all mean something different. We ate some huge fires, a sugary treat, and a wood fired pizza! We were taking a break from the sun and there was this chair behind one of the vendors and Aubrey being the outgoing child that she is just climbs up it like it was her's. She is so adorable! We just had the PRCA Rodeo here in Moab, I am on the committee and have been super busy with that the past few weeks. Everything turned out great, and the rodeo went well! Then Aubrey and I went down to Cedar City for Kade's blessing. That was a nice trip away from our crazy busy life. Justin and Lei took us up this canyon to a waterfall. The hike was a bit tricky in flip flops but we all managed to make it. The canyon was really pretty and the kids LOVED the waterfall. Thanks for an entertaining weekend!! Mat and I are still trying to get our house moved to our property, hopefully we get it done before we go to South Dakota. I can't wait for Aubrey to have a yard to play in. She loves to be outside, and I will love the fact that she can go by herself and I won't have to worry about her getting out in the street. I am planning my parent's 25th Wedding Anniversary party, that will take place in just three short weeks. They have their ups and downs but truly have been an inspiration, not many people stay together these days. It is amasing the love that they still have for one another! Congrats Mom and Dad we love you!!
Oh and my cousins from Montana are in town this week. We are having tons of fun. We drove around the mountain, we went river rafting, my mom took them to Power Dam, Jake took them on Hell's Revenge and I think we are having a BBQ on Sunday! Always something going on in our crazy beautiful lives!
