Fish Lake

We got home yesterday from the Zufelt family vakay at Fish Lake. Things could have been better but we had a good time anyway. Aubrey, decided to cut a tooth, and her nose was running so bad that she couldn't breathe when she tried to sleep. So we came home a day early, there was no way I could spend another night away from home with no sleep. It was really nice to get out of the heat, and see Justin and Leilani and their adorable children! Aubrey wasn't really excited about being put in her car seat at five am but it wasn't long before she was dancing to the music. The drive after we got on Highway 72 was so beautiful! The lake was really pretty too. Mat and I never went out on the boat but everyone else said that it had a lot of sea weed and moss on the shore, so we didn't do any fishing either. I guess you could say Mat and I just played camp B...... all weekend :-) We had fun doing it though. Aubrey even though she wasn't quite herself she seemed like she enjoyed her first camping trip. Sure wish we could have seen Nephi, Elizabeth and their girls. Well I will leave you with some pictures, hope everyone else had a good Pioneer Day weekend!!The lake from our camp.Sitting around the camp fire.

just Aubrey

Just some pictures of my baby girl from the last week.

Wonderfull weekend

Mat and I had a great weekend!! I decided to switch Aubrey's car seat around a month early since all she has been doing when I try and put her in it is SCREAM bloody murder and make everyone turn there heads as to say "What are you doing to that poor child?!?" And she absolutely loves it!! Yay for me no more dirty looks at the grocery store. We then went up to Buckeye to see Bo and Laura, and get out of the 100+ degree valley!! Ugh it has been so hot here. Anyway, it was a cool 85 degrees at the lake or so the truck said. Aubrey had a ton of fun playing in the mountain dirt...but what 11 month old wouldn't. Yes you read that right my baby is 11 months old!!!!! :-(And she loves the water!!!Then when we left the lake I convinced Mat to drive to Gateway to see his buddy for a few hours before going home. But we only made it halfway, we decided to stop and call to make sure he was home and not in Grand Junction and sure enough as our luck would have it he was not there. So instead we turned around and came home. It was a great little day vakay, and better then sitting at home whining about the heat. How beautiful is our mountain?

Baby Cash and a Monkey

My nephew is getting so big! I quit my job last week so I could stay home with Aubrey full time, and now I am watching my sisters boys for her. So it is a win win for us! Jacob Cash is now four months old!! He is growing so fast.
He is such a goof ball...
Our little princess has turned into a monkey! She has learned the fine art known as climbing. And boy does she enjoy it!!! She climbs all over everything and everyone. Her she is climbing into the toy box over the chair.

Independance Day

We were extremely boring this 4th. How un-american is it to not have a hot dog on the fourth of July?? Ya we suck. We spent the day doing a lot of nothing, just being lazy. The firework show was ok it just gets shorter and shorter every year. Literally I think it lasted 15 minutes tops this year! BOO!!! But I did go take some absolutely ADORABLE photos of Aubrey this week. Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th!
I love love love the props!
And a collage...

Mud fun

Aubrey loves to play in the sand and mud!!! We were over at Cody and Brittni's the other day that they are just starting to grow grass, we were out watering it and Aubrey loved the squishy mud in between her toes.
We had an absolutely BEAUTIFUL sunset on the 1st.

One Year!!!

Mat and I celebrated our one year anniversary yesterday. I can't believe just how fast the past year has gone by. Mat got a little jipped though, he had to share his first Father's day with our first anniversary but he didn't seem to mind to much. We went to Salt Lake Saturday after my grandpa's funeral. :-( The weather was horrible! We got rained on almost the whole time. But as bad as the weather was we had a really great weekend. My girlfriend hooked us up with a suite at Crystal Inn for only eighty dollars!! Thanks V! We had a great dinner at Chili's, did a little shopping, and just hung out enjoying each others company. It was a much needed get away to say the least.
Mat's Father's Day gift.
Hanging out in Price, on our way to SLC.
On our way home. Such a cheeser.
Playing with her new toys.

How adorable is this skirt? $5.00 @ the children's place!
