Fun with the family!

Cousin Cayden is just having a ball with Aubrey. With her arrival and all the buzz of his baby sister on the way he is having so much fun playing "my baby". We have a stuffed horse that I made for my mom and Cayden has taken on role of MOM to this little suffed horse. It is so much fun to watch him with it. "Shhhhh, auntie the baby is sleeping!" "Baby hungry, baby hungry!" And he has just taken to Aubrey, helping her work her new walker, and talking up a storm to her! Uncle Jake likes to read her stories and "walk" her all over the house. The whole family is having a great time watching her grow!

1st Halloween!!!

Aubrey was not having a very good morning and I didn't help the situation by putting her in a pumpkin and a way to big piglet costume that will have to wait till next year!

We did have a better afternoon, though. (Mom stopped picking on her) We went down to the Rotary Park where Karisa was taking Halloween photos, and as I am sure you can guess Aubrey was not a willing participant. Yes she cried the whole time and her pictures look a lot like the ones above! Hopefully next year she will have more fun.

I thought they pumpkin was a good idea :( To bad she didn't this is the best pic outta the bunch and you can still tell she isnt impressed with me.

Cousin Cayden was a very cute little bullrider, watch out ladies he is going to be a heart breaker!

Getting so big!

I can't believe how quick our little one is growing. Mat and I are having so much fun with her though. She tries so hard to sit up but she just isn't quite big enough or strong enough to do it yet. However, that doesn't stop her from trying!

I took her to get her shots this past Tuesday, and I am not sure who was the baby me or her! It was the saddest thing ever. Needless to say I will be happy when her first year is over because then the shots come a lot less often. :-(

Eleven Pounder!!!

Wow I knew she was growing fast but I didn't realize just how fast. Aubrey went to the Dr. yesterday, and weighed in at 11 lbs 2 oz!!! That is a total gain of 3lbs 1 oz since last month. I knew she was getting heavy but I thought I was just being a sissy. She also grew an inch and a half and is now 22 in long. Dr. Williams is happy with her growth and says she is right on track. He also noticed a heart murmur but said it was nothing to worry about.

We have to go get her shots next week :-( Needless to say I am not very enthused about having to do it. With any luck she will handle them well, a mom can hope right?

There isn't a whole lot going on in our little world. Mostly just a lot of work for Mat and a lot of Dr. appiontments for me before the Medicade runs out. Hope everyone is enjoying the cool weather, I know we aren't :-)

How lucky am I?

This is what I get to wake up to every morning!

How cute is she? And what is better is she is this happy most all day everyday!

We are having so much fun watching her grow. Time is going by so fast she is already two months old! We got her a play mat and she seems to like it.

She loves to look at her self in a mirror, so I found this really cute mirror that straps onto your headrest so they can see themselves while they are in the car. She absolutely loves it!

It is getting cold!!!

Woke up this morning and had to turn on the heater! I am so not ready for the cold. But Aubrey looks so cute all bundled up.

Mat hates to have his picture taken, so I have to sneak around and wait for him to fall asleep to get any of him.
