Face lift

So I decided that our blog needed a new look and so why not PINK :-) And some new music. Aubrey is growing like a weed! I ordered her pictures, and should have them sometime this week. I can't wait for Halloween, we can't decide if she should be a lady bug, piglet, or a little bunny they are all so cute! Well I hope everyone is enjoying fall so far. Everything is starting to change colors, time for a drive over the mountain.

Pictures

We had Aubrey's picture taken by Karisa on Wed, she hasn't gotten the proofs back to me yet but she did get a collage finished. I can't wait to get the pictures, the ones in the collage are absolutely adorable! Aubrey wasn't very cooperative, and had her first cranky moment. I was quite amused I haven't seen her get that frusterated yet. All in all though the shoot went well and Karisa got some great shots. So pictures coming soon I hope!

Aubrey had a Dr. appointment yesterday she now weighs 9lbs 8oz. She is growing so fast! The Dr. said she is growing right on track, and looks great. She is controlling her head really well, and rolls onto her side from her back. She changes so much from day to day. Hope everyone is doing well can't wait for all the fall colors!

One month already!

I can't believe that I have been a mom for a whole month already! It is amasing how fast they grow and how much they change from day to day. I finally remembered to trim her finger nails so she no longer has gloves on 24/7, dad is happy he was beginning to think that I would never do it. :)

Cayden loves his new cousin! He is absolutely adorable with her. He knows to wash his hands and sit down before he gets to hold her. It is so fun to watch all the cousins with her, kids are so cute!

We went and met Great Grandpa Bennie this past weekend. He is so cute with her, until she crys then he freaks out a bit and passes her back real quick. Needless to say he is NOT a big fan of unhappy babies! But who can blame him right?

Mat and I got to see Aubrey smile while she was awake for the first time! It is the cutest thing ever. Now if I can just catch it on camera! She got her first real bath this past week. She didn't seem to mind it till the water started to get a little cold.

Well that is the latest from our little family hope everyone is enjoying the last of the warm weather.

Where does the time go???

I can't believe our little one will be three weeks old tomorrow! It is crazy how quickly they grow up. Not a whole lot to tell, the days are filled with the same things over and over. Feed, change the diaper, sleep, and repeat.

We got Aubrey blessed this past sunday. It went really well once they came and got us out of the little room where you can go to breastfeed. Funny story really!

Mat and I put her swing together yesterday. She seems to like it for a few minutes at a time anyway.

Cousin Kyle and Aubrey. How cute are they?

Outfit change...

It is amazing how one day through up and poopy diapers make you gag and then you have your own rugrat and it becomes an everyday thing. I didn't think it was possible to leak out of every single diaper that was put on, but it is. At least it was possible yesterday. I swear I changed Aubrey's outfit with every diaper change! I hope it is not a sign of what is to come "Mom I have nothing to wear." Oh who am I kidding of course it is, us girls NEVER have anything to wear. :-)

One week

So our little girl has been here with us for a week now. It has been absolutely wonderful, full of three am feedings and lots of dirty diapers! Aubrey is such a good baby, she only gets up the one time at night and hardly ever cries. We enjoy having her here with us, it was a long wait but it was worth every second.

Hope everyone has a good labor day weekend!

She has arrived!!!

So our little girl came into the world at 10:44 last night. I delivered by way of a c-section, after 13 hours of labor. The doctor thought it would be best because my contractions were strong but I had not progressed for a few hours. Well turns out she was "sunny side up" and wouldn't fit through my pelvis that way. But she is here and healthy, weighing 7 lbs 9oz and was 20.5 in long! Her Apgars were 8 and 9. Deffinately worth it all in the end. We are hoping to be able to go home tomorrow, I am pretty sore but I am up and walking so that is good. Aubrey looks just like her daddy. We are so glad to finally have her here with us, the wait was long but well worth it all!
