Already August....

I can't believe it is already August and my baby girl will be THREE in just 6 short days. It is amazing how fast they grow and learn.
Aubrey just a few weeks old.
Aubs just a few weeks from THREE!
We have been having a ton of fun the last two months. I spent the entire month of July driving back and forth from Moab to Grand Junction. I got a promotion at work and now I am a Personal Banker. I spent Mon-Fri in Junction and my weekends crazy busy at home. My sister got married on the 16th, it was a GORGEOUS ceremony on the mountain. I am so happy for her and Austin.
My mom, sister, Aubrey and I went to Monticello for their July 24th celebration. It was a lot of fun we watched a parade, hung out at the park and watched a burn out contest that seemed to consist of one entry. I sure wish that Moab had festivities like that for the community and not just the tourists!
I took pictures for Tosha's old rodeo friend on July 30th. Katie was a beautiful bride and their location was just amazing!
Breath taking right??
We got to see Nephi, Elizabeth and their adorable little girls for a short time this year. It was nice to visit, they crammed a ton of things into their few short days here in town so we didn't see them much, but I am glad that we got to see them this year.
Some of the Zufelt gang the rest of us were either not present or not "picture ready" =)
This past weekend was a ton of fun! Friday was Relay For Life here in Moab and so we hung out at the High School track and walked, and walked, and walked to raise money for cancer research. It was a lot of fun just like it is every year. We raised over 36,000 dollars this year! Yay!!!!
Phil Muller with the torch.
Melanie Dolphin--I love her!
After I was done cleaning up from Relay Deborah and Larry joined us up at Bo and Laura's property for an awesome fun camping trip! We got up to the mountain at about 3 and Mat and Larry helped Bo put up the last of the rafters on the hut. I took Ethan, Gage and Aubrey for a ride in the Rhino, the boys thought that it was really cool that I hit a rock and it flipped up under us and made a loud noise. Ethan told Gage that I didn't really know how to use the Rhino because I wouldn't go four wheeling up a hill. =) Apparently, I am not as cool as I thought I was. After Bo, Laura and the boys headed home I put together some hobo dinners and while they cooked we all went on a night ride on the mountain. It was a TON of fun Mat took us on a loop threw Redd Ranches property, and when we got back dinner was done. I wish cooking was that much fun at home. Thanks Jake and Candis for letting us stay in your camper, we had a blast!
Aubrey was a little tuckered out after our ride on Sunday. =)

Temporary Hiatus....

Slacker ALERT!! It seems as though I have forgotten how to blog...not so much. My excuse...Life has been CRAZY. We are all healthy and happy. We have been so busy the past few weeks, I'm not even sure where to start.
I survived the Rodeo, even with all of the craziness that went with it. Aubrey and I were able to take Miss Rodeo Utah, Martina Wardle, out to breakfast while she was in town. She is a great person! We are so thankful that she was able to make it.
I had the honor of taking the photos for Ariane and Casey's wedding in May. Talk about an adorable couple! These two are seriously the most perfect match EVER! Ari made the most beautiful bride, and Casey gave us all quite a show trying to get enough money to buy his bride back. Thanks for a great evening!
Crystal and Joe FINALLY got married! After a seven year engagement the were wed on June 4th (yep Rodeo SATURDAY!) it was seriously the most MAGICAL moment I have ever witnessed. The love that they have for each other is amazing and it shows!
Donnie and Cyndie have been living with us since Easter, we were all beginning to think that they were never going to be able to move into their house. But they finally got everything finished and got to move in this past weekend. We are so happy for them. Aubrey is pretty sad that her friend doesn't live with us any more but she is adjusting to being the only 'baby' again pretty well.
We bought Don and Cyn's Rhino and we have been out every weekend since we got it! Aubrey is in heaven when we go out. I can't wait for all of the snow to melt off the mountain so that we can get up to the property from this side.

On Father's Day we went with Jake, Candis and their girls to Bo and Laura's property. We had to take the scenic route threw Lasal. It was quite an adventure that included; rain, snow, a fallen tree, "the long way around" and TONS OF MEMORIES! We had a blast thanks for going with us Jake and Candis!

**This sat as a draft for weeks so it is missing some photos but at least it is published. =)

Spring in Moab!

I am beginning to believe that Spring does in fact exist! The weather has been a roller coaster ride this year, warm then rain, warm then snow, warm then wind.....well you get the idea. I am actually loving the rain we are getting this week, Mat and I planted grass seed in our back yard on Sunday so the rain means I don't have to water =)
Things have been crazy busy for myself, the Rodeo is only two short weeks away! OMG!! Basically I am a ball of stress and it isn't fun for anyone involved. To top it off we have a strain of horse herpes going around and we might have to cancel it! So that adds to the freak out factor just a tad. But hopefully it all blows over (ya right) and the show will go on. =)
Mat has been working a way on the yard keeping the weeds at bay. Yard projects are super expensive so it will probably take us forever before we are able to afford the things that we want to do.
Aubrey is growing like CRAZY! She gets smarter and smarter everyday. She does seriously the funniest things. I use to be sad that I didn't have any of those really funny "look where/how i fell asleep" pictures but she is making up for that.Car Show and Jeep Safari were both very mild this year. Mat and I didn't go up to Potato Salad at all, not even once! Car Show Cyndie and I went and walked around the Park for like an hour and the coolest thing I seen wasn't even entered in the show! I totally want Mat to make me one.
Isn't it SWEET!?
Mother's Day was nice. We went out to Red Cliffs Lodge Sunday Brunch for the second year in a row. We totally missed the mark and went at the wrong time. However, it was still a ton of fun and very enjoyable. Tosha slept instead of coming with us =( she isn't getting out of it next year I won't let her! This was our view while we ate. Mat complained that it was HOT but I say it was totally worth it.
This past Saturday Mat and I went to the Elk Foundation Banquet. It was a lot of fun as it always is. My mom won a .223, Shawn walked away with an AMAZING .347 pistol (so jealous), and my dad bought Aubs the most adorable set of chairs. Donnie and Cyndie's house arrived this week! So exciting for them, hopefully we will be having a house warming party in the next few weeks. =)Here are a few random photos from the past few weeks.

Happy Easter!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Easter. The weather in Moab is less then delightful, we hunted eggs in the rain this morning. Parents=not impressed, kids=not a care in the world as long as they found the most eggs. The 'Easter Bunny' hid approximately 35 eggs, the girls only found 24, so moral of the story......DOGS EAT HARD BOILED EGGS!! I'd say they scarfed down more eggs then they probably should have. =)
We have some friends living with us while they put a new house on their property. So things have been pretty crazy, busy and quite an adventure around this Zufelt home.
Aubrey is absolutely in heaven having a live in play mate. (Insert your personal opinion that it is time for Mathew and I to have another child here.) It has been pretty nice having them here, Aubs has a friend to entertain her and I have help with dishes and trash duty =). And the best part is good company!
Here is a recap of the past month (or two)...
Being goofy @ City Market.
Riding in the plane @ Mesa Mall.
Climbing the pole outside of Zax.
Modeling her new 'Stunna Shades'!

Swinging @ the City Park.

Out riding with the Larrabee family!
Mom's certificate from work. Yay me!
Eating cake for Kodi Ann's 1st Birthday!
This is me paying entirely TO MUCH for gas!!
Hope everyone else is having as fun a Spring as we are, now if the snow would just melt and we could go up to the mountains.
