Last camping trip of the summer

We decided to go camping last Friday night. We went up to Buckeye with Cody, Brit and Cody's family. It was a TON of fun! Aubrey was such a joy. She fell asleep on the way up, and was so cute in the morning when she woke up she didn't have a clue where she was. It was quite comical she was looking around for Mat and yelling his name, he startled her when he popped up from the other bed in the back of the RV. It was adorable! We went for a long four wheeler ride Saturday morning it was so much fun. Aubrey fell asleep shortly after we left camp, and then woke back up shortly before we returned! She was so cute. Anyway, we had tons of fun and got see some AMAZING views!!!Aubrey asleep on the four wheeler!

Interesting week...

This past week was interesting to say the least! Aubrey has been such a joy! No teething or cold, ahh my sweet baby is back. She has finally decided that walking is a better way to get around then crawling. Aubrey is so cute in the bath, she enjoys the water so much.This is her literally seconds before she decided to take a poo in the tub! Yes, she did her business right there in her bath. I was so shocked I wasn't sure what to do, seriously I expected something like that when she was just a few weeks or months old but not at 13 months! Anyway, I scoped her up out of the tub and my sweet wonderful husband cleaned up the mess...yes you read that right MAT cleaned up the poo!!

Now on to something a little less repulsive. The car wash still freaks Aubrey out on occasion but this week she was having fun "driving" through it.Thursday morning Aubs woke up in the best mood ever. I love when she is so happy however if it would come a little later then seven am it would be that much better!My mom had to go help at the horse show that night so I fed the horses for her, and Aubrey helped!Sunday, I went to Monticello to take pictures for my girlfriend and Aubrey and Mat got to spend the morning together just the two of them! Mat said they had a good time, and they must have she fell asleep on the couch.So I have decided that my daughter is the biggest goof around. She does some of the most random things! The pictures say more then I can...Yes she is riding a SHOE!!! She keeps us on our toes, now that she is walking but I wouldn't have it any other way! We are enjoying the fall weather and the colors on the mountains are absolutely amazing. We are looking forward to the holidays, and seeing everyone!

Out cold!

Saturday night Mat, Aubrey and I started a movie, and about ten minutes into it Aubs was out! It is the first time since she was like four months old that she fell asleep in my arms! And she stayed asleep when I moved her to the couch! Poor thing was tuckered.Not much going on in our lives at the moment. We are waiting for my parents to get the final approval on their home loan. As soon as that happens our boring life will become hectic for a while. However we are really excited to get the trailor moved onto our property, and look forward to all the "sweat equity" in the near future! Hope everyone is enjoying the LAST day of summer, where did it go?? I am so looking forward to fall, and the holidays.

Lazy...

We have been pretty lazy around here lately. But we did go up to the mountain last weekend, we had a lot of fun. It is so pretty up there this time of year. The leaves are changing and fall is in the air!!!See the deer?

On Wednesday we went up to Brownell's property in Pack Creek. Had to check on the horses and repair some fence. Aubrey being the adorable little goof that she is...well the picture says more then I can....goof right??Their property is SO beautiful!! They have a bunch of wild turkeys running around all over the place. I snapped a few pics of one of the field on my way home. I sure wish that was my daily view!!Then later that night, she was crawling across the floor and out of NOWHERE she tripped over herself and landed on a wooden alphabet block! Poor thing, I am so glad that it hit her in between her eyes and not in one of them! The pic is kinda dark and from my cell so it is kinda hard to see.

Aubrey's Echo

Everything went well today. The tech said that everything looks normal. We go see her pediatrician again next Monday so he can tell us the official results. So finally there is a huge weight lifted off of our shoulders! Aubrey wasn't really sure what was going on, but she behaved pretty good. She cried for a bit and then would relax for a bit then cry and so on. About the time she decided things were okay, it was over. Poor thing I had to hold her down! (Only for a minute)

Camping trip # 2

Well Aubrey's second camping trip went a whole lot better then her first! Aubrey and I joined Bo, Laura, Justin, Leilani and the kids up at the Sorensen's cabin Monday night.Beautiful right??

We had a lot of fun, Aubrey had a ton of fun climbing up the stairs, she is so proud of herself.And as usual she really enjoyed crawling around in the dirt. She nawed on a stick for a bit, and probably would have eaten it if I hadn't taken it away from her! Tuesday we went over and walked the property lines of Bo and Laura's new property, and I am lame and left the camera at the cabin! I was seriously upset with myself because there was 101 photo opportunities. Their property has the most beautiful creek on it. Next time I guess!

A wedding and watermelon!!

My cousin got married last week. It was a beautiful ceremony, and she was a stunning bride! Congrats Amber and Josh!!!

Aubrey really enjoyed the watermelon that was served at the reception!
